So, I’m back almost a week later. Oh, well, that is life. I’m busy, people! I have a life!

Reflections on last weekend will come later (tomorrow will be the start of another weekend. Maybe I’ll post them together for you!). Now for all the delayed birthdays I know you all are dying to read. =DDD
There are many of them, of course. So I’ll ignore some, either because I don’t really give a damn about the characters or because they are not developed enough for me to write a paragraph about them. The ignored characters are: Kevin Hopking (U.N.I., 28 of June), Amina Ashabad (U.N.I., 5th of July), Masayuki Akita (U.N.I., 6th of July) and Kelly Austing (U.N.I., 7th July). Yes, they are all from the same story (about which I’ll talk more soon), and are so far nothing more than the names of the classmates of the main characters. In other words, they are extras.
Now for the characters that have some importance. In chronological order:
30th of June: Katrina Djorovic.
She is also from U.N.I., a story which is kinda like Harry Potter, but not really. There is a boariding school, a forest, four houses, sport competitions… But there is no magic, no castle, no main trio (there are four main characters!), and the children come from all around the world. Basically U.N.I. (that is the name of the school – United Nations Institute) is a school for genius children from all around the world. They teach lots of things with emphasis in multiculturalism, politics and history – and here is where I put what I lean at uni to good use – and their hope is that those children will then have the key to built a better world (it is 2131, the world is all fu*** up and they really need to do something or everyone dies! =DDDDDD)
Now, to Katrina. Again compairing this story with Harry Potter, Katrina is some sort of young Cho Chang, but from Croatia. Tiago (one half of the main character – the other half is his twin Natália) falls in love with her at the very beginning of the story, when he is 11 years old. But as he grows older and the plot tickens, they become just friends and find love with someone else. She is from Byakko – class C – and I think she is second representative. She is cute and intelligent. And probably more, but I haven’t given that much tought to her personality to write more. Ops. =DDD

2nd July: Seichirou Morinaga.
Morinaga is number 18. His hair is blue and bright yellow. And he is waaay shorter than the other two, but I can't make that difference on the chibis or he would be faaaaar too short. =DDD
Morinaga is from Hashire! (more about that story in Ed’s birthday post – June 23rd). He is in Ed’s team. His jersey is number 18 and he plays right-wing. The other two in the picture above are Yuu Kaku (centre) and Kunihiro Hayashi (right). Morinaga and Hayashi are rivals/best friends (no yaoi involved, I’m affraid. That is for Jun and Hitsuka =DD). While Morinaga is a very rich, shallow consumist who likes to show off and tell everybody just how rich he is, Hayashi hates the social differences created by money and wants a society in which everyone will be the same and no one will have a lot of money to show off. That makes them ideological rivals – the Capitalist Pig and the Communist Rat, as they call themselves – and generates many heated debates. But dispite all that they are good friends. They just don’t show it to everyone.
The third element to the group is the half-Japanese, half-Korean Kaku. He is always in the middle, balancing the disputes between his two friend. They are a good trio.
On the 2nd July…
Morinaga invited Kaku and Hayashi to have lunch with him at a posh restaurant on his birthday. Hayashi ordered water and the cheapest food he could find, complaining all the time that they served too small a portion for all the money they were putting on it. Morinaga got all the specials, and Kaku asked for the more traditional dishes. They spent the whole meal arguing about the point of being in that restaurant eating that food – Hayashi tought it was not fair that many people around the world could not afford any food at all, while Morinaga believed it was his right to be there because his family had worked hard to have all the money they had. Kaku only listened, and sometimes pointed who had the best argument. When they left the restaurant, they were all laughing and walking arm-on-arm.
Morinaga is 1,58m. The other two are above 1,70m. The poor guy is short… =D

5th of June: Kojiroh Omura.
He is also from U.N.I., the first representative of C class (Byakko house). He is Japanese. He is good at sports and quite aggressive. His main rival is Pietro Scarpellini, an Italian from Tiago’s class (B – Seiryuu).
Green and white are Byakko's colours. The kanji, guess what, reads "Byakko". =DD
He is a proud leader who knows how to incentivate his classmates. His hair is messy. He will side with Tiago when the school is faced with difficulties, even though he hates Pietro.

June 7th: Christer Länsmans.
Christer was originally from a story I idealised when I was travelling around Europe in 2005. I wanted to write about 10 young people who meet in a Youth Hostel in Göteborg and become friends, and then end up involved in confusions related to the lives of two of the children (Andrei and Nina, from Russia and Poland, respectivelly). Christer was then a young 13 year-old from another city in Sweden, and that would be his first time spending summer holidays alone. The story begins with him checking in the hostel and meeting his other four roommates (Johan, Andrei, Carlos and Tomás) and the girls from across the corridor (Mokona, Eeillen, Katherine, Nina and Manuela).
But then my cousin came with an idea for a Harry Potter fic with original characters, and I ended up using those ten because I didn’t want to create new characters. So Christer and his friends plus Maria’s characters became the stars of Born to Suffer, a fanfic in Portuguese that is full of humour but should have some drama and mystery as well. Oh, well, it is partly our fault that we don’t know how to stay dramatic for very long. If you know some Portuguese, check this ting out. You will either laugh or think we are stupid (if you don’t already).
Now we are thinking about re-wrinting everything and turn it into an original story, but with the same characters (that is, take Hogwarts out of it). Let’s see what is going to happen…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTER!
9th of July: Inuko Yurevna Karasimov
She is the daughter of Yuriy and Jing Mei from Beyblade 2 – Chikara wa Kimi no Naka ni Aru!, which means she will appear in Beyblade 2 – Susumu Beki Mirai e, the third part of the story, and also means that tecnically we should not be celebrating her birthday yet because she will be born only in 2016.
Again, I can’t tell much about her, because she might be relativelly important in her story (which is still to be written and posted) and I don’t want to spoil anything.
Just keep in mind that Kenji and Akiko, Yoshiyuki’s and Takashi’s children respectively, will be born in 2017.
And here is Inuko for you:
The dog (yes, it is a dog) in her shoulder is suppose to have two tails. He is a special dog, because she is the daughter of the leader of a gang of bad guys with dogs. Cool, huh? =D
I kinda like this drawing, even if it was among my first. It is the only I have of her, because I like that one so much ‘m afraid to do it again and make a mess… =D
